A multidisciplinary classical pianist of Nigerian-Filipino ancestry, Adam Heron is the winner of the 2020 Harriet Cohen Bach Prize, and a laureate of numerous international piano competitions. Born in Hong Kong, he rose to prominence following his 2018 television debut as a BBC Young Musician piano finalist. Recent collaborations include concerto engagements with leading conductors including Jonathon Heyward, Dwight Pile-Gray, and David Curtis, as well as recital appearances alongside many fellow musicians, such as violinist Antal Zalai, soprano Francesca Chiejina, and cellist Laura van der Heijden. Through his unique artistry, coupled with an innate flair for communication and pedagogy, he strives to become a leading ambassador for classical music.
